ONLINE SSM BUSINESS LICENSE REGISTRATION

 

Registration steps for sole proprietorship and partnership business

  • Fill out the registration form
  • Upload the required documents
  • Proceed to payment
  • The person in charge will make contact via Whatsapp after payment has been made

 

For those who have just started a business, you must be confused about doing online SSM registration, either sole proprietorship or partnership, SSM ezbiz account registration, SSM online registration, registration requirements and type of businesses that can be registered with SSM.

 

Sole Proprietorship business characteristics :

  • The business is registered using the same name as on the Identification Card. For example; Ali Bin Abu.
  • The owner is only one person, the owner of the name.
  • All capital, profits, costs, and losses are borne by the owner.

 

Partnership business characteristics :

  • The ownership can be registered from 2 to 20 people in one company.
  • All profits, costs and losses are borne by the partners.
  • Capital, experience, expertise and knowledge are shared by the owners within the company.

 

IF THE ONLINE SSM REGISTRATION IS APPROVED, WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS?

You will receive an email and Whatsapp message from us, indicating that your business has been successfully registered in the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) system. SSM certificate and Business Information will be provided in email and Whatsapp using PDF format.

 

If the customer registers an EzBiz SSM account for the first time:

  1. The person in charge will register an EzBiz account for the customer (if the customer does not have an EzBiz account) and request additional documents to create an EzBiz account first, additional documents are such as a photo of front/back ID card, a selfie while holding the ID card, a photo of supporting documents; driving license, birth certificate or marriage certificate.
  2. The person in charge will also ask the customer to select the date and time of the video call session with the SSM officer for the verification process.
  3. After verification is complete, customers can wait 2 to 5 working days for the registration process to be completed.
  4. The person in charge may contact the customer again if there is information in the form that needs further explanation or needs to be changed or so on.
  5. The approved SSM certificate will be sent to the customer’s email in PDF format.

 

If the customer already has an EzBiz account:

  1. The person in charge will inform the customer to check the email inbox for the temporary username and password that has been sent by the SSM system.
  2. The temporary username and password must be allowed to be given to the person in charge in order to proceed to the next registration process.
  3. Customers can wait 2 to 5 working days for the registration process to be completed. The person in charge may contact the customer again if there is information in the form that needs further explanation or needs to be changed or so on.
  4. The approval time depends on the information provided in the application form.
  5. The approved SSM certificate will be sent to the customer’s email in PDF format.
  6. Only for Sole Proprietorship and Partnership. This form is not applicable for SDN. BHD, PLT, LLP, CLINICS, LAW FIRMS and states of SABAH and SARAWAK
